Boone

Welcome to Boone! Sweet 8.5-year-old neutered male examined by Dr. Alanna Munzenmaier at Northeast Animal Hospital. Boone weighs 37 pounds and needs to lose about seven pounds. He has a small non-reducible umbilical hernia which needs no surgery; eyes, ears, heart and teeth are okay. Boone has generalized patchy hair loss with itchiness and was treated with Capstar for fleas, Cytopoint injection and is being treated for hookworms. Boone also has medial patellar luxation of the left knee and is mildly anemic, likely from long-term flea infestation and hookworms. Boone will also need to have rabies and DHPP vaccinations.
