Precious Hope’s journey began with a spinal injury, but her story is really about resilience, healing, and the second chance every dog deserves. With the help of a dedicated foster and ongoing medical care, she has come a long way and is now waiting for a special adopter who can love her for who she is and support the care she still needs.

Things to know about this sweet Velcro pup: Hope is very loving, bonds to her human but does have some separation anxiety. She enjoys cuddling and her role as your lap warmer. Hope loves being held, car rides, walks, is a good eater, and does well with other dogs. She has amazing eyesight and hearing but is easily spooked by loud noises. She also considers an open door an invitation to explore whatever lies behind it. Gotta admire her sense of adventure.

Hope has been fitted for wheels and loves the freedom her wheels give her. She is incontinent and needs her bladder expressed on a regular schedule; pee pads and diapers are helpful aids. She cannot do steps but has learned to use a ramp. To protect her spinal cord, Hope must not be allowed to jump and will need to be lifted and carried often.

Hope’s needs are special, but so is she. With the right adopter by her side, she can continue to thrive and share the sweet, loyal love that makes her so easy to cherish.

❤️ Health: Hope has a spinal injury that affects her mobility and bladder control. She uses a wheelchair, needs regular bladder expression, and requires an angel adopter who is comfortable with her ongoing care needs.

CRF microchips all rescues.

🏡 Forever Home Requirements:

✔️An adult home where abundant companionship is available.

✔️Patience and understanding to create a supportive environment that is safe and accessible.

✔️Another friendly and calm mannered dog would be fine.

✔️No pool for safety reasons.
